Lustrous Schorl Crystal on Milky White Cleavelandite from Urundu mine, Skardu District, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan is available at gandharagems.
Schorl known as black tourmaline, forming distinct large crystals is a common mineral but the aesthetic and interesting ones are desirable. This particular specimen featuring elongated fatty large double terminated crystal shooting out in an upward direction very nicely wrapped by milky white cleavelandite. The schorl exhibits an excellent quality metallic luster, highly striated with smooth flat termination. Indeed a very pretty contrasting and aesthetic piece in such characters from the northern area of Pakistan.
